Awesome product alert!!!

I have found 2 products that I LOVE & I just had to share with you. Yesterday I was talking about some updating I had done to my laundry room. Right in my laundry room are these 2 favorite products that make laundry much more enjoyable!!!

First one is Tide Febreze Sport- which I have been using for awhile. We have a lot of sports and working out going on with all the people in our household. Along with that is... sweaty gym clothes- YUCK! Recently I discovered Downy Un Stopables they are these little sprinkles that you just put right on top of the clothes. It makes my whole laundry room smell super fresh and clean!!  And all of our clothes & towels- even the really, sweaty work out clothes, smell "fresh as a daisy" :)

Has anyone else tried either one? Do you love them? Any other laundry products that you absolutely LOVE! I would love to hear about them :)

Thanks for stopping by- and check out Fast Project Friday tomorrow!!!

Life Doc- A fun product!

Wouldn't it be nice to have all of your important information in one place?  Imagine not having to search to find information regarding insurance, a medical issue from years ago, kids immunization records, the contact information for a plumber, etc.Well I found the answer when I found this binder called Life doc, and I can't wait to put it to use!!  It has lots of tabs already labeled. Behind each tab there is a pocket folder and forms to fill in information.

Here is the front of the binder...

Emergency plan- it has places to fill in information like who has keys to your home, meeting locations in case of emergencies, emergency contact information, etc

Family Basics- which has places to fill in personal info about each family member

In Sickness & in Health- behind this tab there are forms for each member of the family and it has you fill in medical information including doctors, surgeries, allergies, medications, immunizations, etc
***What's great about this is having all of this information together and organized makes it super simple to keep your doctors updated, when going to a new doctor or having surgery. As a nurse I can tell you it is really important for patients to be aware of their medications, dosages, allergies, & past medical history.

Insurance- having all insurance companies, policy numbers and contact numbers all in one place makes it simple if you need to call in a claim. Usually when you need that information is when you don't have the time to search though files or piles to find it :)

Dollars & Sense- All of your financial information all in one place- banks, credit cards, mortgage, etc. So if your purse or wallet would get stolen or lost you have all of that information handy.  You could easily call and let credit card companies and banks know to cancel cards and be on the look out for someone trying to use your account! Being able to quickly call and do this could save you a lot of money and stress!!

Legal Ease- Lawyers, wills, power of attorney information all that kind of info

Caregiver information- so this has a place to put all the information that a babysitter would need while you were away, emergency authorization forms- to give someone else permission to seek medical attention for your child if you were not home, & elder care- for other people that you may help take care of- like parents or grandparents
Home Sweet Home- for all of your home information- handyman, yard person, plumber, utility info, etc

I found this binder at Target, but they also have a website you can view by clicking here. Has anyone used this product? What other ways have worked for you to keep all this important information together?

Organizing all that paper- part 3

Staying with the theme this week of organizing paper, I will chat a bit about the mail. I am really paranoid about throwing away or recycling paper that has personal information on it. So I was constantly taking mail to the shredder, shredding it and then recycling it. I got to where I would make a pile of papers that needed to be shredded, then finally going and shredding them. Well the problem is that gives me one more stack of papers that I need to do something with.

About a month ago at work one of the other nurses I work with brought in a Current catalog and I found a stamp called the ID Guard Stamper. So I ordered it and thought I would try it. It works so well!!! I keep it in my kitchen desk and when I bring the mail in I grab it out and stamp through any personal information then just throw the unwanted mail into the paper recycling bin and am done with it. You can order it on the website also at www.currentcatalog.com -just type in ID Guard Stamper in the keyword.

Thanks for stopping by today and let me know if you have a product that has helped save time in your life!
