Fast Project Friday- showing my dryer some love...

Well Friday is here again! Along with that I bring you another Fast Project Friday...

Remember last Friday, my Fast Project Friday started out with this, well do you remember I said that I got a bunch of them? I have another project to use it on!

But this week instead of sprucing up things on the washing machine I am heading to the dryer! It's the perfect size to hold my dryer sheets!

I used the same labels from Better Homes and Gardens, took my scrapbook stickers and labeled it Dryer Sheets.  If you notice I also found a cute little garbage can on clearance at Shopko. It is the perfect size to put lint from the dryer into!!  On the other side is a reused(empty & cleaned out) peanut butter jar for the dryer balls.

Any projects going on this week in your household? We have a busy weekend but their are some projects I would like to check of the old ToDo list!  Let's see what gets done, I'll fill you in Monday :)
Have a great weekend and THANK YOU so much for stopping by my blog!

Fast Project Friday- Stain Fighter!!

Laundry is a daily thing in our household, so my laundry room will probably always be a work in progress... With all of the activities that go on in our family, our clothes take a beating. So I need a place to corral all my stain removal stuff.

On Pinterest I found this cute laundry stain cheat sheet that I knew I had to do something with.  So I printed it and laminated it.

While at Target the other day I found these little baskets on clearance, I scooped up a bunch of them in different colors and just knew I would find a use for them!!

It fit all of my stain fighting things nicely! I also quick made a label for my basket.  It worked easy to just print a sheet off on card stock paper and used scrapbook stickers to label. Then I punched a hole through and used some jute to tie it to the basket.

Remember the Stain Cheat Sheet that I laminated? Well- I just put a command hook on the top of my shelf above the washing machine. I hole punched the cheat sheet and tied jute to that as well. Then I hung it from the shelf

And here it is!!  Stain fighting here I come :)

I just LOVE how it came together!  Anything that can make doing laundry less work is great in my book!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Have a great weekend!  I have some fun projects that I am working on for next week. Let's just say that I am ready to be done spray painting!!!

Quick Laundry room perk up!!

Here is a quick project to take you into your weekend. My laundry room is a work in progress but I have done a couple small things that have made a big difference! Unfortunately I didn't take a before picture :( But imagine everything in a basket on top of my washing machine :) This project cost around $12. I found the actual shelves just lying in the basement, so I bought the brackets and the small bowls on the top shelf... Let me tell you all about it!!!

I really love this top shelf- these bowls I bought at Target in the
Kitchen section. I labeled one for each person in our home and
they are for when I empty pockets. I can just put whatever it is
into the persons bowl and can easily take it to their room!

This lower shelf holds the detergent, stain treatments, (the green
basket came from a fruit bouquet someone sent me), & the dryer
balls(the container for those is an old peanut butter jar
I cleaned out)

So I bought a couple of things but reused many items that I already had. It really makes doing laundry much easier when everything has a place. There are still more things I would like to do, but I am really loving just the small changes I made!! What things in your laundry room help keep it in order? Have a GREAT weekend :)
