Ok- Next I finished up this shelf- Let me take you step by step...
I found this cute little bucket at the Dollar Tree, so I am using it for
our dog's supplies- like her medications, brush, extra collar, etc.
I made the label from this BHG website here. I just printed it off on
card stock and used packing tape to secure it to the bucket.
Next I really wanted a place for all of the sunscreen and bug spray. Something that I could
quickly grab and take with us. I already had this basket, but wasn't currently using it for anything.
I like all the compartments, so I can keep things divided out and easy to find and grab!
Next up were medications. This little tote I got at Target a while ago and have several that I am
storing pictures in, but I had an extra so thought I would try it out.
Here is the inside- I found some little drawer organizers to put several of the same types together
Here are the drawer organizers labeled
Here is another way I grouped and labeled some of the medications
First it was important to look at all the medications I had- lots were expired! There were a lot of things that we had but were not using and no plans on using in the near future! So it was good to get rid of those. Remember when storing medications safety comes first. Click here for some information about storing and discarding medications safely. I chose this top shelf in my closet to store it on so it is up and away from kids reach. There is also the option of locking this whole closet or also I may in the future buy a medication locked safe- click here to see what I'm talking about. Not super expensive and a great way to make sure all of your medications are safely locked away!
Well just a couple of finishing touches and this closet clean out will be done!! Hope you all had a great weekend, and let me know what projects you have going on! Any projects you are wanting to do but don't know how to get started? I would love to hear from you! Remember you can click on my contacts page at the top and email me any questions or comments! Thanks for stopping by!
